General Performance Index©
(GPI: General Performance Index): "It is an index that measures the performance that a tennis player has had in a given period of time." This index, not shown here, is used to make the "General Performance Ranking© or GPI Ranking© ".

Next, the tables of the Top 50 are shown in each aspect analyzed.
Finally, we have the first quarterly report of the performances of the WTA players. The podium, in this case, is made up by Bianca Andreescu (CAN), Karolina Pliskova (CZE) and Petra Kvitova (CZE), in positions 1, 2 and 3, respectively of the General Per-formance Ranking© or GPI Ranking©.

The rest of the players are shown in table 1, standing out Simona Halep (ROU), Belinda Bencic (SUI), Ashleigh Barty (AUS), Su-Wei Hsieh (TPE), Yafan Wang (CHN), An-ett Kontaveit (EST) and Kiki Bertens (NED), among others.

There are 5 Top 10 of the WTA Ranking in-cluded in the Top 10 of the GPI Ranking©. However, the best performance player this first quarterly of the 2019 season, has been the Canadian Bianca Andreescu with WTA Ranking 23, who in the end has the greater number of matches played, 29 in total.
